Hello everyone! Welcome to my entry for the Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest Round 448.

While sitting out in the bright sunlight, I noticed how the strong light was casting sharp, distinct shadows on the ground. I decided to capture the shadow of a traditional plastic water pot (locally known as a "Bodna" in Bangladesh).

This water pot actually broke about two weeks ago during a playful moment with my friends, but we still use it every day. As the bright sunshine hit the pot, the broken edge and its unique shape formed a very bold, geometric shadow on the floor.

It is always fascinating to see how everyday objects even ones with little flaws and memories attached to them create such sharp and interesting shadow patterns.

Here are two different perspectives capturing the unique form of the shadow under the clear light.

I hope you enjoy these shadow shots! Best of luck to all participants in this round.
