It was some weeks ago when I went with a big group of church friends to check out a stream near my house. This place is called Taman Warisan which can be translated as Heritage Park.
My friend who had gone before to this place organized and invited us and our children to join them on a public holiday. She prepared us that we may need to walk a bit and the place may have some mosquitoes.
Off we went!
We walked along some pipelines and down some jungle tracks to arrive at a very clear and calm stream.
Here is one of the spots but my friends said there is a better spot ahead so we went further in.
At one part of it, it even looks like a natural mini pool. We could sit on rocks while some of my friends fully immerse and swam their hearts out here.
There is particularly a big rock where some of the other visitors climbed and jumped down into the water from it. Though we did not know the other visitors, we also clapped and cheered for them!
We spread out mats to put out things. One of the persons-in charge came by to collect RM25 for our fees to this place. It is quite worth it as there were so many of us. Opposite the stream is another campsite where it has higher charges.
After playing water a while, my son went to play with the cat instead. Another son was not too interedted to get himself wet so he stayed on the mat with hhis cousin.
I went to soak my feet in the water. The water is bluish green and crystal clear. It felt so tranquil as if time slowed down.
The cchildren then had some snacks and relaxed after playing in the water. Before we left, we remembered to take a big group photo as it is kind of a rare outing for all of us.
