Cayden was two years younger than me and had been single for over 4 years since his previous relationship. The previous relationship involved him with a model girl, the one with dark brown hair and gorgeous blue eyes. Unfortunately, the relationship ended brutally, and my brother was the one that got hurt. Since then, Cayden remained single and refused to give new girls a try. We don't blame him because he was only 16 when he had his heartbroken. By the time he was 21, he introduced his new girlfriend, the one he had met with her online, to us during a Christmas eve meal. I was already engaged to my fiance.
"Everyone, meet Bethany!!" Cayden said in a rather buoyant manner.
"Hi, lovely to meet you guys!!" Bethany said while shaking my hand.
His girlfriend was also stunningly gorgeous, with her dark blonde-gold hair and turquoise eyes. However, as I got to know her more, I also found out just how artistic and intelligent she was. Bethany was obsessed with making digital and traditional art, with most of them that contained herself in it. I felt happy for my brother that he found such a sweet and creative girlfriend. She was humble, benevolent towards us, and insanely resourceful. I thought to myself that nothing could go wrong now.
The art that contained all about herself should've been a red flag from the beginning. Looking back, we were all too blinded by her perfectionism. All her art pieces had herself as the main theme drawn as a goddess or fictional character. She drew herself stunningly in her art, even more so than she looked in real life. Her insanely creative talent was mainly used in elaborating herself in her artwork. In fact, she never liked drawing about anything else that did not have herself as the main theme to it. Once, I asked her to draw something I've written, and she began making excuses why not to draw it.
Two weeks later, my fiance and I got married. On our wedding day, I noticed that my husband was taking forever in the men's changing room. I made Bethany one of my bridesmaids but not the maid of honor. I simply trusted her like a close friend. However, the other bridesmaids were my closest friends, and they sensed something was wrong with Bethany. One of them kept on euphemizing it to me, but I simply ignored her. After waiting for another twenty minutes, I knew that something had happened with my husband in the changing room.
"How strange, Bethany is also missing by the way!" Karyn said in a satirical tone. " I asked her where she was going before, but she just told me she was going to the restroom!"
"Oh, come on!!' I said encouragingly, "my husband won't do this, I know he won't!"
When I finally got the keys to open the change room, I saw my husband laying on the ground with blood that flowed across the room. Bethany stood there with a butcher's knife in her hands, and she instantly noticed us watching her. She threw the dagger at Karyn, but I managed to pull her out of the way in time. All the wrestling sound we began having had caught my brother's attention. He had just come upstairs informing us all to go down. He was astounded to see Bethany standing there so belligerently. He went over to comfort her, but she began behaving like we had attacked her out of the blue.
After witnessing my husband's death, we called the ambulance and the police. The surveillance camera was placed in one of the corners of the ceiling, where it was able to capture everything. We saw that my husband had cheated on me with Bethany. After it was over, Bethany insisted that he would dump me, and she would dump my brother so that they could run away together. My husband refused and told her it was just fun for them. After that, Bethany got out the knife and stabbed him from behind.
We later got to know that Bethany was not her real name. Her real name was Tushisnki Bartoska, a 27-year-old female that had a criminal history of murder. She had set an entire family of five on fire where all of them died only a year ago, and she used a black passport to get into the U.S. She changed her name and ID. Tushisnki was a mentally delirious young woman who was also a narcissist. She believed that she was more precious than everyone else on earth and that we were all made to serve her. She murdered all those who had proved her wrong. All of that beautiful artwork she had made were simply her self-expression, something we never knew before.
Five years had passed since then. I've remarried to someone else now, and he is more respectful towards me than my previous husband could. Despite that gruesome incident, I still know that he cheated on me on our wedding day. Cayden on the other hand still remained single. He did not want to ever approach another female again.
