No. The Jim Harbaugh (crazy weirdo) led Los Angeles Chargers did not win a game. Although with all the injuries the Rams have, they might accidentally do it.
No This is much more unlikely than that. In 2026, during the day and age of the league being insanely skewed toward quarterbacks, an NFL team just won a game without completing a single forward pass. Now if this were 100 years ago, people on the internet would say... what the fuck is a computer?! And then they'd ask what a forward pass is. But this is 2026! Every single rule has been written so Tom Brady could play as long as possible... with a special assist to his medical advisor... I mean his snake-oil salesman partner who stole money from cancer patients. But that is a different story. It is supposed to be really easy for quarterbacks these days.
I mean there is basically no intentional grounding. Defenders get a 15 yard penalty if they hit the QB too high, too low, or land on them while tackling them... which is kind of the point of tackling. Oh and there is defensive pass interference on just about every other play while receivers seem to be able to push off as much as they like. But whatever.
Today baker Mayfield of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers dropped back to pass four times. No he was not hurt. No he was not replacing another quarterback. he was the only one to play all day. On those four drop-backs, Mayfield was sacked once and threw three incompletes. So the Bucs netted -2 passing yards. MINUS TWO!
To be fair...
There was a horrendous rainstorm in Tampa Bay. Water was pooling on the field and the conditions were horrible. But that didn't stop Atlanta from gaining 125 yards in the air... and losing.
Instead the Bucs Bucky Irving and Kenny Gainwell carried the ball 27 and 25 times for 170 and 140 yards respectively. Yep that equals 310 yards right there. Zoinks!
Although the NFL reports that a team has not won in over fifty years if they completed 0 passes (The Buffalo Bills did it back in 1974), I know for a fact it was done at least 48 times back in 1991 when I controlled the Los Angeles Raiders in Techmo Super Bowl and refused to let Jay Shroeder throw a pass while Bo Jackson ran all over every opponent I played. Bo was a GOD!
Anyway, congrats to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on breaking the NFL!
