Sometimes we judge before we know,
From looks or accent, our opinions can grow.
We build a picture in our minds,
Without giving people a chance to shine.

We close the door before we knock,
Ignoring the beauty that may unlock.
We miss the chance to make a friend,
To see the love that they can send.

But if we try to look beyond,
Our prejudices may lose their bond.
We may find a soul who shares our heart,
A friend to cherish, from whom we'll never part.

So let's try to see with open eyes,
And not let our judgments be the disguise.
For every person is unique and true,
And has so much to offer to me and you.
