Spring has arrived in the Carolinas, and with it time to get out to my very own private beer garden aka my backyard patio.
Tonight, I present a red ale brewed by . . . . . . . .. . .
the Fiddlin' Fish Brewing Co. of Winston-Salem, NORTH CAROLINA.
Name: Irish Red
Style: Red Ale
Brewer: Fiddlin' Fish Brewing Co. of Winston-Salem, NORTH CAROLINA
Appearance: clear reddish-amber color and pours with a medium foamy head
Aroma: malty
Taste: sweet caramel from the roasted malts with a hint of bitters
Mouthful: carbonates well, light to medium body with a clean finish
Overall: very enjoyable and will have more!
Oops, almost forgot the ABV!
And if you have made it this far let me share with you these wonderful flowers in my beer garden.
They are called ranunculus, and with all things beautiful, these plants are extremely poisonous.
LOOK BUT DO NOT EAT!
Beer and words of wisdom all in one post.
Happy Easter!
