Today in Lublin there is very hot weather. I do not like to walk in the heat so I decided it was time for the first post. As I promised today, I will talk about the types of crochet. This is a very important topic because we distinguish several types and sizes.
CROCHET MADE OF BAMBOO
Available in sizes 2.0 - 5.0
Made as the name says bamboo wood, which is very natural. These crochet are light and work well on them. The advantage is that the yarn is cool on them, and the eyes will not drop the same when crocheting.
CROCHET WITH A PROFILED SURFACE
Available in sizes 2.0 - 7.0.
Under this supposedly complicated name hides the well-known metal - aluminum crochet. they may be silver or pearly gray. They have a profiled surface, which is why they are held in the palm of your hand very well and comfortably.
CROCHET WITH A PLASTIC HANDLE
Available in sizes 2.0 - 6, 0
As you can see in the attached picture here we have an aluminum crochet with a plastic handle. You do not have to worry that the crochet hook is unstable. Manufacturers reinforce the crochet handles accordingly, which means they are durable, and they stick nicely in the hand.
PLASTIC CROCHET
Available in sizes 6.0 - 10.0 and 12.0 and 15.0
So they are large crochet, perfect for working on thick yarn. It should not discourage them from making plastic. despite appearances, they are very strong and durable.
At the end of this one little digression :) No crochet hook is eternal! This is the subject of our work, which is why every work tool wears or breaks. Do not be afraid of "crushing" crochet, just buy new ones and continue to learn the art of crocheting.
