After the Prophets (peace be upon them), the most holy people on earth are the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). How holy are those men whose hands were chosen by Allah to collect the Qur'an.
Scholars write that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, could have combined the Holy Qur'an; But Allah Ta'ala had destined this work for the Companions of the Prophet so that the Ummah could establish an uncritical trust with these personalities.
Companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, those whose holy hands may have been touched by the righteous hand of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. And whose eyes must have had the honor of seeing Mustafa ﷺ countless times in their lives. Today, if one of us visits even once in a dream, how great, holy and blessed it is considered. Today, if we find among us those who visit a great scholar or saint, how holy do we consider them and how popular do we look at them?
🔅 The first addressee of the Companions of the Holy Quran:
Know that the Companions are the first addressees of the Holy Quran. If the Holy Qur'an says {Olaik Hum al-Rashadoon}, "These are the people of wisdom and guidance", or says {Olaik Hum al-Alfazeoon}. He says, "These are the people who are prosperous." These are the successful people who never fall. "Or {Olaik Hum al-Sadiqun} says, "These are the people of truth." All of them are addressed to the Sahaba. The text will be for them; For others, all these tidings will be proved by the signs and indications of the word.
