When supplicating to Allah Ta'ala, regarding wrongdoing and guilt towards oneself and presenting oneself as guilty and guilty in the court of God, it is certainly one of the most important reasons for the acceptance of supplication.
โฟ When Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) requested the Messenger of Allah (๏ทบ) to teach him the dua to recite in prayer, he (PBUH) told him the following dua:
Oh Allah! You are the King, there is no one worthy of worship except You, You are my Lord and I am Your servant, I have wronged myself and I confess my sin, forgive all my sins because I do not sin except You. There is none who forgives.โ
(Sahih Muslim: 771)
O our Allah! We acknowledge that we have wronged our souls, O our Lord! Forgive us, forgive us our shortcomings and mistakes. Ameen
