Well, i do!
I'm a person with a whole extra universe mapped out inside my mind, where a black hole could be my friend that holds my hands via the winds on Earth, and talks via the chains of particles that bridge the gaps, and we see via colour codes and static shape shifting.
Always thinking about big pictures, then miniscule ones, then animating them all, then graphing things out and visualising what could be or has been and why.... and yet, i feel so boring.
I have a frustrated approach to words, i love them dearly but they are often a right cluster of stuff to say instead of one simple summary word for words. The people before my time have left us letters, but the people since have become less inventive with naming. So when a new thing is discovered, it often gets given a boring letter and number name instead of a proper selfdescriptive one....although particle people seem good at naming their fun stuff out loud, like the name God particle.
It gives you some animation to spur on further thoughts, like what would god be like if he was a particle. This has actually led me to think really deep about such characters and realms, but! it is hard to associate labels and initiate easy flows of writing when writing about unknown realms and themes that often only get a boring code name and barely acknowledged as an out-loud subject.
Having so much to talk about from the insides to the outsides it's excessively harder than waffling about the body's physical day and what the brain directly thought about it. The "non" stuff, the most interesting perhaps, is the hardest thing to communicate with others. Especially when you dont know anyone, especially when not talking with lips but with fingers and no voice tones.
How many people think that far inwards, and how often?? do they hate being inside their minds or love it? what do other's want to crack open in that realm and why are we struggling to share and connect with each other about it all?... it can often be a dilema. Only made easier in the past with music and community gatherings, relaxations and mellow chemicals, but as we've been stripped of these, probably to stop up thinking inwards in the first place "for some reason", i think we need to at least start to try and rememeber where that stuff stopped and what happens with conversations in the future when we approach inside speeches and allow them to be included, accepted as an answer to "where have you been today?"
Because online, everyone is showing images. easy. Click. this is here, i am in or near it, i can explain something about it if i want. job done. love me follow me. listen to me even though i say nothing.
And people with friends, with busy times and things to visit, even if they are the most boring personality person ever, visiting the same thing we saw 100 times the day before, or worse, they could still write about their life and a selfie and they somehow become this most interesting person to bunches of other people. And they all seem to connect.... but they are only eye-connecting, nothing more. And yet that is currently funding the world's spin. It's just wont last and it's dumb and boring. But whilst it's a hit of a habit, I have to sit here and believe i am boring because i cant keep up with mundane photofacelocationers who are obsessed with tah-dahing all oveer the place. I personally still find a simple magick trick beautiful, like pulling things from sleeves! you always think youve seen it all before, but the colours, the textures, the movements in how it's done, the time and place, the tone of voice attached, what happens once it's pulled out, how long it was in the end etc.... it can be never ending humour if you give it a chance.
I come from a background of low ends and different approaches and i dont share a lot of joy in the standard organized fun, you know, like drinking in a pub, eating out, etc.. it's alright, but it's nothing compared to pretending to be friends with a black hole and talking with your tv.
But because my journeys will involve going inside myself to the hard descriptive realms of my mind, my physical presence doesn't really get to tell any tales of interest and i tend not to bother even initiating a chat about my day in that realm because, well, it can sound insane, complex, and i have watched people get annoyed at hearing about such things because their mind just isnt in that place, or it used to be but theyre too busy now, and perhaps they believe it to be childish nowadays. A bit like when everyone loves dinosaurs until they dont again, and they wait until they have kids to relove dinosaurs.
So yeh, it gets very offputting as an experience to bring up when people just ask how my day has been or what ive been up to, so inevitably it becomes the outside to inside conversation instead, where the answers are; i physically moved to this spot, or physically picked something up and saw with my eyeballs a thing we all see etc, and that is then me, a fucking bore.
Because of my lack of money and not many physical adventures are possible, i always end up feeling like i don't have anything to talk about because ive not been anywhere or seen anything from google maps.
I have spent the last year in my house, only leaving to go shop or a random walk around the block, and not even that often! and not even because of the virus, this is me. This is what happens when someone writes your car off and a pandemic makes the insurance process take over 9 months to which all external jobs as a self employed person had rued their day, and now are non existant physically but mega existing in the infuriation mental realm of memories and experience.
So i have been left rebuilding anything i can think of but so it can go via the airwaves not the physical route. My physical tales would just be me, almost every day, just sitting, a lot, looking around and mapping stuff in my mind, plotting plans and such, but not actually physically doing much.
It makes it really difficult to know where to start to think about how to write up a series of events that happen in reality where the reality has two sides to every tale, and just telling one side of events, it makes it harder as time goes on to include the two or more other sides.
And i sense that really, when someone asks how your day is, the perfect truth would be to describe your day thrice over. Everyone's day has an Earth, Heaven, and Hell. One step forward on earth could mean one step forward in heaven and one step backwards in hell, or vice versa (<-see, another one of those phrases we need more of in this language), or it could be 3 steps in hell, 2 in heaven and the earth didnt move etc. all in the same day though, so how do you begin writing that out and describing the past, present and future in one shared same day?
Segments? one overall story? split them up into seperate events even though it was the same day? Somehow, only talking commonly about the physical outside stuff, to which, after a tonne of sitting down and maybe stretching the odd limb here and there, facing the same walls as yesterday, there's not much to actually say. So therefore i seem like, im up there as one of the most boring people ever. All because i can't say i ate a golden cake made in the shape of a shoe, or visited a hotel room with a view that someone else took a picture of before. And a photo of my four walls sucks, so i could try and draw what my mind visited instead. But at the moment, it feels almost pointless because nobody seems like they would care to see a drawing of a place when there are photos around.
So back to my jist here, my brother @mobbs , also finds himself feeling similar on such matters, and not sure what to say after months of not being able to go far physically and adventurously, so we like to try and encourage each other from opposite sides of the planet.
And here is a very lame but real duel i challenge him too. (lame because nothing happens if we do not bother, no speed hole wounds to fear us into shame, but maybe, just for fun is enough. And real, because we spoke about the notion of doing something and this is the real next part of such a plan of a notion).
The duel is, finding a way to write about our day once in awile, by highlighting the hidden things, the mind trails, the invisible places we sit inside of when we are physically sitting on something as boring as a train seat. Almost like we should write to highlight the peripharal things, the shadows, the what if's and other ways of looking. So, i think we should note down some of our days, whilst being super boring, let;s spy on why we still laugh about our experiences in daily life, and seemingly have better days than most, even though we physically seem to be the most boring things about... i think it's all an illusion and that we can display ourselves in other ways apart from just face-on images.
For instance earlier, i was wondering how the day in the life was for some of my mitochondria guys today, i have them right here and i dont really know them. So imagining about them gets me googling about them in order to learn what science knows, and then i get to imagine even more by myself until i can pretend to visualise them and give them characters, and wonder about them, and it can feel like im in a different world even though my eyes remain open and it's all just wondering. But if that takes up a good half an hour of my day, i should be able to explain myself without sounding boring.
What is the official name for the other realm? I dont think we have ever agreed a standard place name. I cant even say i was being "busy in my head" because it is left to vast interpretation and usually presumed to be a negative thing when it isn;t because of what the word "busy" tends to imply thesedays. Or "in my imagination" might sound like im away with the fairies thinking of cartoons when i was imagining a strategic chart or plan of action.
There are so many themes and names out there, we must all know what we mean, we just dont know what it looks like to each of ourselves, we need to write about how boring we really are and try to find structures and labels that might help express it outwards easier.
So, I was thinking we should pick a random day soon, and agree to live through it, then write about it, and we have to write the positive perspective of the day and then the negative version, and then can compare how different things can look and how boring we might not be :D ... or some such anyways :D
