The Tree of Life in Rike Park
Created in 2016 by Georgian artist David Monavarlisashvili, with an alternative name of "the tree of wishes"
Made out of bits of scrap metal, in the form of an oak tree, I stood amazed for quite a while, the more you look at it the more you see.
Bird houses, insects and even a series of suspension bridges!
The couple are real, the dog isn't. Notice how the bench is made of assorted spanners welded together.
The residents of Baratashvili Bridge
The Baratashvili Bridge was constructed in 1966, and named after Nikolaz baratashvili, a Georgian romantic poet. Known locally becuse of this as the "Bridge of Love."
The figures are a parody of couples in love.
The figures in bronze are the work of Georgian artist Gia Japaridze and were installed in 2006. now in his late 70's Gia has works erected globally and in many museums and private collections, including the vatican

The silhouettes of Dedaena Park
I meandered via other places and ended up in this public park, there was a lot going on, families out socialising, kids in the skatepark. No snaps taken, "Remember in future doofus, to take a spare battery out with you."
I guess he must be someone famous?
