I read somewhere that Berat is the town of a 1,000 windows, I have no intention of counting them, they could be like sheep and I might nod off. Anyways, it is pretty damn obvious that there are at least 3,647 of them.

.....I was sat next to a table of local workmen, grafters, in dusty work-clothes with hardened calloused hands.
They were though very camera shy and not up for being photographed sadly.
On their way home the British worker would enjoy a couple of beers, these guys?
A strong coffee and a glass of water

I do find these communist era blocks to have a thing about them, not as brutal as other countries but still evocative of bygone times
