It's time once again to have a look back at the Splinterlands season that was. This was the second season under the new reward system and there were some minor changes to the rules from the first season, but none that dramatically impacted my rewards. So, I think an apples-to-apples comparison of the first and second season is appropriate.
| Stat | # |
|---|---|
| Diamond Rank | 1345 |
| Rating | 3241 - Diamond II |
| Rating High | 3305 |
| Ratio (Win/Loss) | 0.94 (204/216) |
| Longest Streak | 7 |
While I didn't make it into Diamond 1 league this season, I did attain Diamond 2 and my rating was only 200 lower. But, more importantly, my win/loss ratio improved from 0.89 to 0.94 this season. Continuing to achieve a high win/loss ratio will be very important in maximizing my rewards because I won't be depleting my Capture Rate.

The highlights of my rewards this season were a Gold Foil Epic card and 6 Chaos Legion Booster packs. I'm still waiting for my first Legendary Gold Foil under the new reward system and even though the chances of my finding one in one of the Diamond reward chests are greatly improved over the old system, still, they elude me.
Total Ranked play earning increased significantly over last season also. My DEC earnings increased by 4900 DEC (an increase of almost 18%), while my Credits equiveillance increased by 4000 (an increase of over 18%) thanks to finding an extra Chaos Legion pack in my reward chests.

Rentals really shot up this season over last season. My net rental income increased to 11734 this season from the paltry 3974 DEC last season. I guess it took the BOT farms a season to get adjusted and start renting heavily again after the changes. I can't wait to see the new Focus changes and new rulesets introduced to keep the BOTs guessing and give us human players a much-needed edge in the arena.
| Type | ⭐ Amount Claimed |

| Airdrop | 7660.289 |
| Staking Rewards | 2336.178 |
| NET SPS | 9996.467 |
| + Voucher Drops | 298.760 🎟️ |
SPS received from the Airdrop and staking rewards increased a little this season while Voucher drops increased significantly thanks to the new voucher distribution for validation node owners. Unfortunately voucher prices plummeted shortly after the new distribution started. But with the SPS airdrop ending later this month, hopefully we will see the price of SPS start to recover which should also push the price of vouchers higher.
The second season under the new reward system continued to be significantly more profitable than the old system. I'm looking forward to the continued system tweaks that will hopefully keep the Splinterlands eco system healthy. But what I'm really chomping at the bit for is LAND!
