This season was much more satisfying than the last for many reasons. First and foremost, I was able to reach Diamond 2 league again after failing dismally last season. I also received significant rewards this season. Not so much in the form of DEC from battles but the total amount of rewards including SPS and Vouchers.

I'm very surprised that I didn't even play 100 battles, but I also very happy to see that those battles I did fight, I won at a very high rate. I think a 2.31 win ratio is the best season performance I ever had. Hopefully I can keep that up in the new season that starts next week. From what I understand, a high win ratio will be very important in earning rewards. Gone (I hope) are the days of endless grinding for a few DEC.

I got a nice little bump in end of season rentals to bring my total rental income up to an acceptable level. Over the last few seasons, I have reduced the number of cards I'm renting and now mostly just throw a few Legendary Gold cards on the market at the end of season to make a few quick DEC. I need to go back and relist a lot of cards at current market rates. I just haven't been in a hurry to get it done.

I'm very happy with the amount of SPS and Vouchers I received this season from the airdrop and staking rewards. I'll be using a portion of this to purchase a Validator Node tomorrow. I was originally going to try and get 2 or more, but the price of SPs dropped so low, that I worry the ROI on the Nodes will be extremely long. I'll FOMO and try to by 1 node, but if things work out I'll be able to get more later.
Land is still just a far distant dream. So, for now I'll focus on Validator Nodes (which are also a far distant dream for implementation). I am excited to see how the new reward system plays out next week. My fingers are crossed that it will be the success that everyone thinks it will be.
