@gregory-fAnother successful Splinterlands season comes to a close and the Chaos Legion Presale is just days away from ending. All the metrics Splinterstats provides from season end are looking good. I'll go through them section by section below.
I guess the biggest news is the recently announced Phase 2 Chaos Legion pack sale and continued distribution of vouchers. First, vouchers will continue to be distributed after the presale ends and second vouchers will have different use cases going forward. So, I guess my days of staking SPS and hording vouchers isn't over yet.

I once again reached Diamond 3 and while I had plenty of time left to try to grind it out for Tier 2 and more DEC rewards, I decided to stop and go spend time with my son instead.

I'm very pleased with my tournament performance. Entered 3 tourneys and got rewards in all 3. Not shown is the entry fees paid for the tournaments. I paid a total of 5 SPS and 1 DEC to enter the 3 tournaments and earned a total of 31 SPS for a net profit of 26 SPS.

The best reward card I got this season was a gold foil Epic Djinn Chwala card worth $125 on the market. But more importantly to me, valued at 2500 DEC towards my daily SPS airdrop points.
All together my total ranked play earnings for the season were worth 13933 DEC all of which counts toward increasing my SPS airdrop points except the 1820 DEC worth of potions.

Rental income was down a little bit this season since I decided to remove my gold foil Chain Golem from rent so I can use it in Gladiator battles. Not an easy decision but ultimately I'm sacrificing a little rental income and helping my guild win more matches in the Gladiator arena.

My little pile of SPS keeps growing and that makes me very happy. Since I'll be using most of the next two weeks worth of airdrops to buy presale packs, my staking rewards next season will probably drop. That's ok since I know it's a temporary blip and once the presale is over, I'll be back to staking 100% of the SPS I receive.
I can't wait to get my hands on those Doctor Blight cards! Splinterlands also announced today that they will be releasing Chaos Legion packs and Doctor Blight cards on December 8th. Just a few more weeks to wait and I'll finally get what I've been working the last month or more to achieve. I'm so excited!
