The term Fiqh comes from Arabic "فَقِهَ - يَفْقَهُ - فِقْهًا" which means understanding, while according to syara 'means knowing the laws of syar, i related to the deeds of the mukallaf, both member and inner deeds, such as knowing the obligatory law, haram , mubah, legitimate or not something is done.
The subject of Fiqh in the Madrasah Tsanawiyah curriculum is defined as one of the subjects of Islamic Education which is directed at preparing students to recognize, understand, appreciate, and practice Islamic law, which then becomes the basis of their way of life through guidance activities, teaching, training, use of experience and habituation
