I couldn't let this day go by without mentioning that it is "Clean Up Your Room Day." I could post several old pictures of some of my children's rooms, but I didn't want to embarrass them.
I remember when I was a teen I had a room that wasn't "showroom perfect," but everything was at least off the floor, except the closet floor. The main mess was in the closet where no one could see it (unless my mother decided to open it).
So, those of you with children (or maybe it's you) who have a messy room (bedroom, office, family room, whatever), it's "Clean Up Your Room Day!"
Even on that day my children didn't clean up their room, so I guess this day doesn't make sense.
