A little time ago in July, I tripped around different places in Estonia with my girlfriend and to end our day we had decided to visit this Ferris wheel. We wanted to go there for quite sometime before but for some reason never went. This wheel is located in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia and it is situated on top of the new T1 shopping mall. This is the reason why its as unique.
Height of this Ferris wheel goes up to 120 meters above sea level which is making this world-class.
T1 mall is already 40 meters over sea level, add 35 meters of the mall and the wheel itself is 45 meters high. Pretty genius if you ask me.
Even more unique is the fact that there is no such structure in Europe elsewhere. The only places where the Ferris wheel is built on the roof of the building is in Taiwan and Japan.
Anyway, we timed ourselves right and went when the sun started to set. Of course, I had a camera with me so I could capture the views I see there. This was really interesting because I had never seen Tallinn from this point of view before. You could see pretty much everything from up there. The sea, all of the capital Tallinn, lake Ülemiste and you can even get a nice overview of the Tallinn's airport. So if you ever come to Estonia, you should definitely visit this second-highest viewpoint in Tallinn.
Here are a couple of pics I took on my ride.
