First of all, SHIT. I accidentally deleted a bunch of RAW files that I hadn't yet gotten to post-process. Unfortunate misunderstanding in folders.
Before I left to travel Madeira, I created a folder and transferred my photos from my cards to get them empty. In the main folder, I have two other folders with RAW files. I created a third folder for the pictures that I choose to post-process at any given time and delete the RAW-s afterward. Today I god damn deleted the wrong folder.

Yes, I checked before deleting it. There were raw files with some thunderstorm shots that I know I have already post-processed, I thought this is the folder that is meant for deleting, but these thunderstorm shots were left there by accident and I didn't check for any other shots. After coming back to the folders I opened the folder with my most recently processed photos, the fucking folder that was really meant for deleting, I immediately knew I screwed up.
I tried to recover these RAW-s with a software but it found a bunch of thumbnails and other shit I don't need. Yep, the photos are gone. I am not entirely sure what other shots were there but I know I deleted a camping trip shots I went to with my girlfriend, some really good shots and great memories. Well, I guess I can always go on another camping trip next summer 馃槥. Fortunately, I didn't delete the other wrong folder that had many more unprocessed photos in it.

The moral of the story is don't be like me. Organize your folders properly!

Here is a pretty cool sunset I captured on an August summer evening. I haven't photographed sunsets that much at all this summer, I guess the last summer had many more instances of special sunsets actually too.

The sky almost looks like a painting. I love sunsets like this, burning clouds are essential.
