Clearwater beach is, of course, a good place for a vacation, especially a beach which I dared to label number one in Florida. You can see the post about it here if you missed it. I walked along the streets of the beach are where I took some photos along the way.
Overall the place looks much like any other beachside area in Florida. Many hotels, restaurants and gift shops for tourists.
You can see people wearing jackets, in FL. It wasn't quite the warmest evening. A cold front was over the state and left us with unusual temperatures for Florida.
Clearwater Beach, in particular, is pretty overpriced, especially the accommodation. We stayed in an Airbnb house and it cost 240 dollars a night. I thought twice about staying there for 2 nights but since these were the last couple of days we spent on our travels I decided to do it. At least we were close to the beach and the house was too quite nice.
As I mentioned, there are many restaurants but we were having a hard time finding a free table because they all were full. There were some fine dining places available to go but considering how overpriced this area is, I didn't really want to see the check there.
Finally, we still managed to get ourselves a table in the pizza restaurant.
Sunset on that evening was also quite nice.
I found really unusual that I saw the moon straight above my head. I had never seen the moon positioned like this, Its because Florida is so much closer to the equator. Something like this never happens in Estonia where I live.
