Diamond beach is a location near the Jökulsarlong glacier lagoon in southern Iceland (a post I made yesterday ). It is named a diamond beach because this part of the coast is full of diamond-looking glacial ice. The ice comes from the Jökulsarlong glacier lagoon where big icebergs stay that fall off the glacier. These huge icebergs break up and go along the river to the ocean, then wash ashore on the beach, which is the diamond beach.
Here I have several ice shots on the peach, its cool to see how ocean waves are crashing into them.
Imagine drinking a cold drink with glacial ice, I would love it.
If you like, you can see my post from 2018 of the same place with sunny weather.
