Today, I’d like to share a stroll through some of the streets of Cabudare, where I live.
On a rainy morning, I went out to do some shopping at my favorite place, where they treat me just the way I like. Then I walked to some other nearby stores and quickly finished up a few specific purchases to restock my pantry.
Downtown was pretty quiet since it was a workday, with a little rain, and it was still early. It’s usually very crowded, and it’s hard to find parking. You have to leave your car several blocks away and walk to the stores, but today there were plenty of parking spots.
The center of Cabudare is small, as it consists only of Libertador Avenue—the main thoroughfare where the area’s primary businesses and shops are located—and the cross streets within a radius of approximately five blocks.
You can find everything we need here, though prices are generally a little better in Barquisimeto—especially when it comes to appliances—which is why many residents prefer to travel there to do their shopping.
This city is in need of some attention from the authorities, as the streets are deteriorating very quickly due to constant rain and the increase in traffic.

Recorriendo el centro de Cabudare
Saludos amigos caminantes que cada miércoles nos trasladan a diversos lugares del mundo. Espero que hayan disfrutado de un excelente miércoles.
En esta oportunidad les comparto un recorrido por algunas calles de la ciudad de Cabudare, donde tengo mi residencia.
En una mañana lluviosa sali a hacer algunas compras a mi sitio preferido donde me atienden como me gusta. Luego caminé a otros negocios cercanos y terminé rápidamente unas compras puntuales para reponer mi despensa.
El centro estaba bastante despejado por ser dia de trabajo, con un poco de lluvia y además era temprano. Normalmente siempre está muy concurrido y cuesta trabajo estacionarse. Hay que dejar el carro varias cuadras atrás y caminar hasta los negocios, pero hoy había puesto de sobra.
El centro de Cabudare es pequeño pues solo tiene la avenida Libertador como arteria donde se ubican los principales negocios y comercios de la zona y las transversales en un rango de aproximadamente cinco cuadras.
Aquí se consigue todo lo que necesitamos, solo que generalmente los precios son un poco mejor en Barquisimeto, sobre todo en lo referente a electrodomésticos y por esa razón muchos residentes prefieren traadarse hasta allá para realizar sus compras.
A esta ciudad ya le está haciendo falta un cariño por parte de las autoridades, porque se estan deteriorando las calles con mucha rapidez debido a m as constantes lluvias y al incremento del volumen de vehículos.
