I have always loved the professional, working class boss lady 9-5 kind of job. I told myself that once I graduate from school I will just look for a job in any cooperate organisation. Well I graduated but I am not working in any cooperate organisation.
Life happens.
But before going to school my Dad made sure I learnt a skill. And since I already like making people look beautiful I decided to go into hairstylist and makeup artistry.
As at then I was just learning it for the Passion of it, not to earn from it.
But while at school I thought to myself, you can still own a business while working with any cooperate organisation.
So I went into branding my beauty business, I chose the name Goody's glam because it's from my name Goodnews and the name depicted everything good and beautiful.
I designed this logo with canva.
So I started growing the vision of owning a beauty store where everything that has to do with enhancing ones looks can be done .
I kept going for upgrades and trying to be better at what I do.
Today I am not where I want to be yet but I am grateful to Jehovah for how far this brand has grown.
If I hadn't learnt a skill then what would have really become of me? Well maybe I would have strive in some other area.
But I am glad I did, so while waiting for my dream job I will keep building this brand unapologetically and intentionally.
And now Goody's glam is a brand where Passion meets creativity.
