The professionally offended portion of society will never be placated. They are a segment that has a life so good that they have free time to always be on the lookout for something that is racist / sexist / homophobic / nazi / whatever-other-overused-keyword-you-can-think-of-ist.
I hate these people and feel as though they take all the fun out of life and when i meet someone who is like this (and yes, even in Thailand we occasionally meet someone like this) I quickly distance myself from them because we are definitely gonna argue.

I don't know who this woman is, but she is a meme now and accidentally became the poster-child for SJW causes worldwide
The latest completely fabricated outrage that the twitter mobs are going apeshit over (I probably said 2 triggering things there) is a sweater that is meant to cover your face in winter. There are groups calling for a complete boycott of Gucci over this and i suppose it is only a matter of time before a few of their NYC shops get mobbed and destroyed by idiots.
Here is the sweater in question

For me, this is simply an ugly sweater that I wouldn't wear anyway but the constantly and professionally agitated people in the SJW world decided that it was "blackface" and that it is therefore racist. Everything is racist! The color black is now racist too!
I am only offended that anyone would considering purchasing this incredibly ugly sweater for $900. $900?!? who TF spends that much money on a shirt? That's like 3.5 PS4's.... are you people nuts or just have waaay too much money?
Of course it was these two race-baiting @ss-hats who brought it to everyone's attention, or at least that is where I heard about it. I actually watch their metrics on Youtube and their subscribers drop on a regular basis and have less than a 10% subscriber-to-viewer ratio (they have millions of subscribers but each video only get about 100-300 thousand views) and they also have a substantially bad up / downvote ratio.
They are still making money but they have very little in the way of credibility because they only focus on a few things on that show and discovering things to be upset about seems to be a major one.
The sweater is not blackface. It is horribly ugly and I can't imagine anyone deciding to buy it and that's it. Not EVERYTHING that happens in the world is about race, you unimaginable idiots. Why on earth would Gucci want to make overtly racist clothing?
This happened with H&M in the past where a black child was featured in a catalogue with a shirt on that said "coolest monkey in the jungle." Later on H&M said "the choice to have a black child for that particular shirt was completely arbitrary - we didn't even know what model would be wearing what the day they came in for the shoot. "
Of course this didn't matter to the perpetually offended. They destroyed a NYC H&M store over it... behaving like actual monkeys in the process.
I like to think that humanity is reasonably intelligent but when stuff like this happens I think i need to reverse that hope. These "news" organizations unfortunately have realized that they will benefit financially by creating outrage out of things that are not outrage-worthy and there are enough extremely stupid people out there to ensure that it continues.
I hope you are not one of them.
