Dear Stackers,

Scottsdale Mint is minting another chunky 5 ounce silver coin and it is a real looker.

The coin is presented on agaunews and discussed a little and ofcourse there is nothing against this 5000 mintage coin with a great design of a "chariot" of the old Egypt civilization. ( I guess they were civilized back then although chariots are the modern day tanks)

Because they do not smoothen the sides the coin looks verty chunky as if was casted/taken out of a large chunk of silver.

That is because if you look carefully you will see it says 2020 on the coin. And it is 2021 now. They decided to delay the minting and are not changing the 2020 but just lowering the mintage to 5000. Not sure how much they originally planned to make.

So have a look and you will most likely never se it in real life.
