Who am I?

There's a lump forming in my throat as I write this. I'm scared to even put these words down, reading them as I go. "You must love yourself before you can truly love another." I don't know who wrote that but it makes sense to me. I just read a post by @jeffberwick, https://steemit.com/life/@jeffberwick/becoming-aware-of-the-one-person-you-really-need-to-know-you, and it really hit home with me. In fact, I was just thinking the same thing yesterday. Was it coincidence I found his post today? I feel lost now. I have 6 beautiful children I adore and love very much. I have a successful business I started from scratch five years ago. I'm a dad, a master carpenter, a bench jeweler, a business owner, a friend to many and if you ask me what I am or why, I can't really answer. I have no idea. I just go with the flow I guess, which ever way the wind blows. This is very disturbing to me and I'm not sure how to remedy this feeling of being lost. I do not know who I really am anymore. Its a great question to answer for yourself. Seeing outside the box is a blessing and not easy to do, it's much easier for others to see the true you from the outside looking in. I hope to keep writing here and find myself along the way. Thank you @jeffberwick for validating something I felt before I read your article. Looking forward to growing mentally and spiritually with this community. Writing and reading helps me do this. And thank you @steemit for giving us this awesome platform to do just that, grow!
