Joshua Coombes is a hairdresser in London. After leaving his shop, he takes his scissor, razor, comb and hairdresser´s cape with him - because he´s out for a mission.
His mission is simple, Joshua does what he can do best, cutting hairs. But this time, he does it without taking money. He´s changing his salon for the streets of London.

30 year old Joshua says: It´s easy to donate money to a noble cause, but it´s more rewarding to create awareness.“ The idea for this came when Joshua Coombesvisit to New York. There he saw a hairdresser cutting the hairs of an homeless person. He was inspired and brought the idea to London where everything began.

A friend of Joshua photographer Matt Spracklen is accompanying him during his mission to keep records of the transformation a haircut can bring. Joshua adds the photographs to his Instagram account and writes some short texts and backgrounds to the people using the hashtag # DoSomethingForNothing which he was trying to raise awareness of
