"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." Matthew 5:48 KJV. God is our example of being a father. I remember reading that verse and saying I am not perfect and no matter how hard I try I miss it. I studied the original Greek translation and it means complete in all its parts, full grown, of full age, specially of the completeness of Christian character or mature. I then realized that we become mature in Christ when we read and study His word, pray, and fellowship with other believes. No body matures over night.It takes time and it takes time and maturity to be a good day. thank you for all the dads that are maturing every day, I salute you today. Blessings, Bd.
