Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing well. Today, I’m here with an encouragement and also a message to pass across to you about prayer.
The Bible made it clear in the book of First Thessalonians, chapter 5, verse 17. It says, “Pray without ceasing.” Other versions say, “Pray continuously.”
There is one thing about prayer: prayer is the key. Sometimes, we go about doing things without seeking the face of the Lord. So, when that thing fails or does not work, we start complaining. But the problem here is that we are not praying; we are not prayerful.
Before things will work in our lives, we have to seek God in the place of prayer. Before things begin to work for our good, we have to pay the price. Prayer is very essential in our lives. It is the only way we communicate with our God.
Imagine spending a week without prayer. It is just like giving ourselves out to the devil to use. So, we need to be conscious of our prayer life and make sure we talk to our God every day, so that He may direct our path.
Some of the things that take away our attention are the things of the world, the love of money, and other things. These things alone can separate us from God or make us backslide from our prayer life. So, it is very important to seek the face of the Lord before every other thing. When we do that, everything shall be added unto us.
And when we pray, we should keep on hoping and developing our faith. We should stand firm in the Lord, and surely, He will guide us.
