Ayer, mi esposo, mi hermana y yo ten铆amos ganas de ver una pel铆cula, pero somos 3 personas con personalidades y gustos muy diferentes, as铆 que encontrar una que nos convenciera a todos iba a ser una tarea algo complicada, al final quedar铆a alguien en desacuerdo. Pero pas贸 algo interesante, mi esposo nos recomend贸 una pel铆cula de la cual solo ha le铆do buenas rese帽as, una historia profunda catalogada en el g茅nero de "terror psicol贸gico", de nada m谩s y nada menos que el director de "Get out"(que nos encant贸).
Lo pensamos un poco, pero aj谩, le tuvimos mucha fe al director por su anterior 茅xito, as铆 que ca铆mos en la trampa y nos dispusimos a ver "Nope". |
Yesterday, my husband, my sister and I wanted to see a movie, but we are 3 people with very different personalities and tastes, so finding one that would convince us all was going to be a somewhat complicated task, in the end there would be someone in disagreement. But something interesting happened, my husband recommended us a movie of which he has only read good reviews, a deep story categorized in the genre of "psychological horror", from none other than the director of "Get out" (which we loved).

La pel铆cula tiene un comienzo muy misterioso y algo atemorizante, que es precisamente lo que te crea la sensaci贸n de "驴Qu茅 est谩 pasando?" y te engancha instintivamente, casi que de inmediato, dije: Bueno, ahora viene lo bueno.... No fu茅 as铆
Luego de esa gran escena, nos presentan a uno de los personajes principales OJ(Daniel Kaluuya) qui茅n se desempe帽a como entrenador de caballos para Hollywood, negocio que le ense帽贸 su padre y viene de varias generaciones. A diferencia de su pap谩, O.J. es algo t铆mido y retra铆do, le cuesta un poco demostrar su car谩cter. |

Mientras su hermano piensa en c贸mo pueden salvar el negocio, un d铆a por casualidad comienza a notar que est谩n pasando cosas en el pueblo donde viven, que abre paso a lo sobrenatural, aqu铆 es donde la pel铆cula comienza a fallar. |

Ellos comienzan a investigar y descubren algo a lo que pueden sacarle provecho, ya que si logran captarlo en c谩mara, pueden venderlo a las productoras, y es ah铆 donde comienzan a trabajar en equipo, por primera vez en sus vidas. Lo que no ve铆a en este punto era el terror, 驴D贸nde est谩 el terror? Comenzamos con un suceso impactante y luego vemos c贸mo se iba convirtiendo en una pel铆cula de ciencia ficci贸n.
De paso, fu茅 aburridamente larga, todo pas贸 como en c谩mara lenta y de vez en cuando continuaban la historia del inicio, pero la verdad es que no aport贸 nada en la trama en si. |

Mi hermana se rindi贸 despu茅s de los 45min, gracias a la pel铆cula cay贸 en un sue帽o profundo, al menos la ayud贸 a descansar 馃槄 Mi esposo y yo ya est谩bamos fastidiados, pero despu茅s de tanto tiempo quer铆amos conocer el final, raz贸n por la cual nos decepcionamos m谩s.
驴Qu茅 podemos rescatar? La elecci贸n de lugar donde se llevaron a cabo los eventos y la ambientaci贸n quedaron fueron bastante acertadas, algunas escenas quedaron impecables, lo efectos especiales fueron sobresalientes y el sonido muy acertado a la hora de resaltar los momentos de tensi贸n. |
My sister gave up after the 45min, thanks to the movie she fell into a deep sleep, at least it helped her rest 馃槄 My husband and I were already annoyed, but after so long we wanted to know the ending, which is why we were more disappointed.
What can we rescue? The choice of location where the events took place and the setting were quite successful, some scenes were impeccable, the special effects were outstanding and the sound was very successful in highlighting the moments of tension. |

Las actuaciones estuvieron geniales, por eso me molest贸 que se desaprovecharan en semejante historia, que la verdad, no me gener贸 ni un poquito de inter茅s o suspenso. Algunos personajes me parecieron innecesarios, creo que quisieron mezclar la comedia, suspenso, ciencia ficci贸n, aventura, pero no lograron compaginar entre s铆.

The performances were great, that's why it bothered me that they were wasted in such a story, which to tell the truth, didn't generate even a little bit of interest or suspense. Some characters seemed unnecessary to me, I think they wanted to mix comedy, suspense, science fiction, adventure, but they didn't manage to combine them.
