Although, in the eastern part of Africa, it is also known as Kente, while in the western part, it is called ankara, also it goes with different names such as African Print, Dutch wax, wax Print etc. Ankara fabric is a very beautiful,colourful fabric, with a various unique designs which I like to call artwork. ```

Originally, Ankara were made with 100% cotton material, now, we have have ankara made with polyester, polycotton.

As a fashion designer in nigeria, i discovered that the most commonly used fabric people use in making their cloth is ankara, particularly due to the fact that it is comfortable on the skin, flexibility ( it can easily switch from casual to formal wear, depending on the style made with it) and it is very affordable to all classes of people, also ankara can be combined with different other kinds of fabric to make unique styles.

With these few points of mine, you should go get yourself ankara fabrics, and make any style you desire, Ankara can be worn by both male and female both adult and children.
