Afri-tunes Week 88 | Iyawo mi by Timi Dakolo Cover

Hello music lovers! Hope you all doing great wherever you are,

I'm so excited to make it to the 88th edition of the AFRITUNES MUSIC WEEK, I love this platform as it helps us embrace our African music, and also encourages those of us who are bathroom singers hehe to develop ourselves and come out of our shells, Like I always say, music/ singing is a fun time for me out of my hectic schedule, so glad I could create the time for a bit of fun today.

For my presentation today, I covered a song by Timi Dakolo, titled Iyawo mi, which also translates as my wife, in the song. Timi praised his wife like she is the best thing that ever happened to him, also confessing his undying love for her. I love it when an African man appreciates his wife as it is somewhat rare for African men to be romantic, so when a man, a husband at that sings such a romantic melody for his wife, it is bound to capture my heart. To crown it all, Timi has one of the best vocal prowess in the Nigerian music industry, there is no how you won;t fall in love with his songs.
