Black Ops 4 Battle Royale May See Standalone Release on Switch

An anonymous source claims Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will not only be getting a battle royale mode, which we had a leak about, but also that it will come to the Switch. This mode may be coming to Nintendo’s newest console as a standalone release.

Of course this rumor is by no means confirming that the full title will release on the Switch. If true, this will mark the first battle royale game coming to the Switch.

The battle royale subgenre is one of the hottest trends in gaming, if not the hottest, it will be interesting to see if other battle royale games like the famous PUBG or Fortnite will make their way into the Nintendo console sooner or later.

What do you think? Will you buy/play Black Ops 4 with battle royale instead of a single player campaign?
