Since so many coffee & tea shops and so many people like coffee or tea, many owners make their cafes with modern, classic or industrial concepts. But with so many other concepts, not infrequently, we will see one of the concepts we like. And I see the concept with the "back to nature" concept. This cafe's name is Sabin by Seken Living.
Sabin has a concept back to nature. Here you not just can eat or drink some coffee or tea. But you will see the beauty of nature. You can see so many plants and so many handicrafts. So I will take you to this cafe with my image.
Sabin by Seken Living is located in Yogyakarta Province, Indonesia. Precisely located in the Kaliurang area. You can come here using Google Maps and write down the cafe's name. In the picture, you see Sabin's backyard. But, before we get to the backyard, I'll take you to the front page at Sabin by Seken Living.
On Sabin's front page, you will see the car has been modified for the plant's showcase. In this car, you will see many plants with so many varieties, and you can buy them if you want. I don't know about plants but what I know was a nice view when I visited this cafe. I enjoyed what they gave on the front page of Sabin.
On the left side of the front page Sabin, you will get "Nest" Cafe. It's the part of Sabin too. Here you can order coffee and tea and order the cake too. I ordered "Bunga Telang" Tea, and I don't drink coffee here because, in the morning, I drink coffee at Klinik Kopi. So I chose to order tea and some doughnut and croissant.
I don't know what exact name of this drink, but what I know is the composition of the drink is "Bunga Telang" Tea on the bottom, Pineapple in the centre and on the top is Strawberry. All of this composition is made from natural fruit. So they do not use artificial ingredients.
Before I ordered this drink, I asked the barista to recommend a fresh drink because the weather was too hot. So they give me this drink. And the taste is really good, and it is fresh. With this combination, I feel my tongue's sour and sweet taste. I don't need much time to get this drink into my stomach.
How about the cake? I will not find a doughnut like this before. The texture of the doughnut is smooth. I think I will miss the taste of it. The chocolate topping is good, too. It's not too sweet but has a good combination with the texture of a doughnut. Ok, I think it's enough to see the nest cafe, and now we will go up and enter the Sabin by Seken Living.
Now, we are inside Sabin by Seken Living. This place has a very nice atmosphere. Very lucky when we came here, not so many people came because if you want to come here, you must to make a reservation in advance. And if you arrive late, approximately 15 minutes, the reservation will be assigned to another group. So yes, this place provides good and kind service to their customers.
You can order food in this building with an a la carte menu or buffet. The buffet menu is different, and it makes my day. For example, the menu on Tuesday & Wednesday is different from Thursday & Friday. You can also check the menu from their social media accounts.
You can choose the food you want to eat in the food area. And, of course, all of the ingredients are natural. The ingredients are always fresh, as you can see in the picture.
This is the food which I order. The jam on the pie is made from real strawberry fruit and not from an artificial jam. So the taste is really good. You can also taste the strawberry from the jam because they are not crushing all of the strawberries, so you can taste the strawberry fruit when you eat it.
About the food, maybe it's not my style to eat all of the vegetables. But for you who like vegetables, it is a good choice to come here and eat some fresh vegetables. The drink has a good taste. I ordered two drinks here, one is "Bunga Telang" Tea, and the other is strawberry with soda. Different from before, the Bunga Telang tea here also with soda too. And the taste of the two is fresh and good.
In this area, you can see a beautiful view of Merapi mountain.
I think it's enough to see this area, and now we will go down by stairs in the centre of this area. And we will see some of the handcrafts.
As you can see, so many crafts are made of wood. Unfortunately, I don't know what wood they used to make this craft, which I do know is often mahogany. On this site, you can also see dried flowers; Of course, you can buy them for yourself or as a gift. I almost forgot they had handmade knives, but I forgot to take this photo.
After this area, we will go to the backyard of Sabin by Seken Living.
This place may be like heaven for those who love the plants. You can find any plants in so many varieties. What I know about the plant here is just the cactus. The owner has a good taste for design and combines nature with the cafe. You can also buy the plants here.
I almost forget that you can join Yoga Class every Tuesday, and there are other classes like essential oil, cooking, and soy wax. But I don't have time to enter the classes because my schedule is busy. So maybe I will someday join the essential oil class because I need essential oil to make me sleep at night.
