Hi, this is my first time participating in a photo contest held by derangedvisions, and coincidentally, this contest brought the theme of food. Of course, I'm very happy because I also quite often take photos of food as a photographer. In this contest I chose to participate in the professional tier category. This time I will serve one food, which is named Risoles.
Risoles are a snack in my country, almost like spring rolls, but have a softer skin texture when compared to lumpia, which are more crunchy. When serving to eat, it will usually be fried first and wrapped in breadcrumbs in the process to get a crunchy texture. In terms of filling, usually, everyone fills it with the filling they like. Still, in general, this snack consists of 5 filling variants, namely Original (traditionally filled with vegetables composed of potatoes, carrots, and corn), Amris (stuffed with eggs, sausage, cheese, and mayonnaise), Mercon (stuffed with vegetables and chilies), then Ayam Suir (stuffed with chicken) and finally Bolonyes (stuffed with mushrooms, tomatoes, and peas).
The price itself is also quite cheap, only around $0.2/pcs. And at the time of buying, we can choose to buy one that has been fried or want to buy one that is still frozen so that later we can fry it ourselves at home.
