Yahoooo! I got in! 😍 I attempted to get in to Hive through PeakD.com last night, but was constantly rejected. So I slept and let it be for the meantime.
I woke up to a brand new day, went to the garden, prepared for breakfast, and sneeked into PeakD to try to get in again. And yes, I made it!!! 😍
Our city is in lockdown due to Covid-19, but it doesn't prevent us from eating a nutritious meal! Sharing with you a humble breakfast, yet packed with nutrients! At the table are boiled sweet potato, sweet potato tops salad, and eggplant omelette.
Here's an eggplant omelette with tomatoes, onions, and spring onions!
I also made a salad--lettuce, carrots, apples, avocado, jicama, tomatoes and onions.
And paired it with cups of moringa tea!
Life in a month-long lockdown shouldn't be boring. I just really hope beyond hope that there would be a steady supply in the market.
For now, only one person per household is allowed to go to the market. All other members of the family should stay at home, especially those who are more than 60 years of age. They are strictly not allowed to go out of their respective homes, since they are most susceptible to contract the deadly virus.
We do not have a positive case in our city, though there are many Person Under Investigation (PUI) and Person Under Monitoring (PUM), yet the city imposed a city-wide lockdown, because the mayor does not believe that the virus did not reach our city yet. Our city doesn't have testing kits, we send the specimen to be tested to the laboratory in Manila, which is also in total lockdown now so we cannot send something there, hence there's no way to determine if the PUMs we have here is positive or negative. 😢 This is the sad reality we face here. We thus assume that we have it here, so we need to be extra careful, follow the city ordinance, because it is all for our own good eventually.
I am hopeful that things would be better sooner. How good would it be when "no resident will say: 'I am sick,'" right? I'm greatly longing for that day to come.
