When we woke up this morning, the hotel room smelled like BBQ. I didn’t mind, but I was starting to wonder if there was a fire in the hotel. There are a number of brush fires North of Sydney but the winds were blowing South.

After a “Long Black”, we were off to the botanical garden for a couple hours.

Next, we went to the aquarium to explore the the local marine life. The one really interesting sighting was a shark with a prolapsed anus (missed the photo opportunity), a Sea Pug named “Rodney” and a curious turtle (that didn’t stay still enough for a decent photo).

Somewhere in there was a couple of burgers for lunch, then a nice 32° walk back to the hotel.

Lots of water was consumed today.
