Some days are full of movement. Today was more of a gentle nudge in that direction.
I started the morning with a walk, added a little jogging, and followed it with a few simple exercises. It felt good to get outside early, even though I could already tell this wasn't going to be one of my bigger activity days.
The rest of the day was mostly regular daily activities. I managed a short walk after lunch and another after dinner, using those moments to stretch my legs and get some fresh air. Nothing long, nothing rushed. Just enough to break up the sitting and give my mind a little space.
By the end of the day, the tracker showed 7k steps.
I used to look at a number like this and immediately think about what was missing. These days, I try to notice what actually happened. I moved, I got outside, and I kept my routine from disappearing completely. Not every day needs to be a high-step day.
Sometimes a slower day is simply part of a sustainable rhythm.
When your day is busy or low-energy, what kind of movement do you still make time for?
