I thought I was done before lunch... the rest of the day had other plans. 馃槃
The morning started the way I like it鈥攁n easy walk to wake up, a light jog to get the heart pumping, and a few simple exercises before the day got busy. By the time I got home, I felt satisfied and figured I'd comfortably finish with a decent step count.
But somehow, I never really stopped moving.
The day filled itself with the usual daily activities, and I kept my little tradition of taking a walk after lunch instead of heading straight back indoors. After dinner, I went out again for a relaxed walk and ended up jogging a little longer than I intended. The evening was calm, the weather was pleasant, and every time I thought about turning back, I found myself saying, "Just one more street."
When I finally checked my tracker before bed, it showed 27k steps.
What I love about days like this is that they don't come from chasing a number. They come from enjoying the process. When movement becomes something you look forward to instead of something you have to complete, the results almost take care of themselves.
What's your favorite time of day to get outside and move鈥攅arly morning, evening, or whenever you can fit it in? I'd love to know!
