Shuffling like a consuming zombie searching the aisle of a grocery store. I stop to have a moment and look around. All these infinite universes inside all the minds wandering the aisles. Are we stuck on autopilot? What thoughts run through our brains, what identity, drives, inspirations, fetishes, desires, online personas, intentions, O-faces - hidden parts of self.
Friday night plans. So many people. Why are we all here- to do the same thing over and over? Eat and wipe our asses. Inside the beast of the machine, the mind can not see what it is to be free. What is it like on the other side of the mirror? As a fish can not conceive life beyond the surface. Dark shadows pass overhead.
Eating to consumer, to consumer to eat, to make plastic, garbage, replicate ourselves, rinse, repeat, destroy the Earth.
Who is on the other end of the puppeteering strings?
Dancing and laughing because we’re told to.
I see myself in a camera- looking in- looking out.
Am I really that grumpy?
Somewhere along the years I must have tripped and lost my way.
Now I search to find joy in every day.
