Good morning everyone, today I would like to share with you my personal experience in using strawberry as a phytotherapeutic remedy.

Description: perennial herbaceous plant.

Minimum cultivation temperature: 5 °C.

Balsamic period: June.

Toxicity: low, but may cause allergic reactions.
Do not take Fragaria vesca supplements during pregnancy and breastfeeding, always consult a doctor before taking phytotherapeutic preparations based on this plant.

Beneficial properties: diuretic.

Confirmed activities: food (fruits).

Active ingredients: tannins, leucoanthocyanins and ascorbic acid, pectins, and mineral salts.

PREPARATIONS

Infusion: prepared with 15 g of fresh leaves per 100 ml of water for the treatment of water retention.

NOTES

Strawberries are potentially allergenic fruits, so they should always be consumed in moderation.

The origins of this plant are not well defined. Some believe it is native to Europe or, according to others, the plant was brought to the old continent by the French general Frézier, returning from Chile.

Temperatura minima di coltivazione: 5 °C.

Periodo balsamico: giugno.

Tossicità: bassa, ma può provocare reazioni allergiche.
Non assumere integratori di Fragaria vesca in gravidanza e allattamento, consultare sempre un medico prima di assumere preparati fitoterapici a base di questa pianta.

Proprietà benefiche: diuretico.

Attività confermate: alimento (frutti).

Principi attivi: tannini, leucoantociani e acido ascorbico, pectine, e sali minerali.

PREPARAZIONI

Infuso: preparato con 15 g di foglie fresche per 100 ml di acqua per il trattamento della ritenzione idrica.

NOTE

Le fragole sono frutti potenzialmente allergizzanti, per questo andrebbero consumate sempre con moderazione.

Le origini di questa pianta non sono ben definite. Alcuni credono sia originaria dell‘Europa oppure, secondo altri, la pianta sarebbe stata portata nel vecchio continente dal generale francese Frézier, di ritorno dal Cile.
