In order to lose weight, I am going to run 500-600 Calories deficit a day, as I've discovered this is about the maximum amount of caloric deficit one can run and continue training hard. Everything more than that would make me tired and unable to train from my experience. And also, most importantly - it's much better to burn calories if you want to run a deficit, than to eat less :) Losing about 2kg a month would be a great rule of thumb, everything more than that is probably too extreme :)
