Today my coffee tastes bitter, of sadness,
Of loneliness and memories of oblivion.
Thousands of thoughts invade my mind,
Tears contained in an instant.
When I close my eyes, my life parades,
Mistakes that deprive us of joy.
We long for happiness without suffering,
But the uncertain life complicates us.
For a long time this coffee didn't taste so bitter,
It was sweet to the point of cloying the palate.
Today cloudy days come, my sun goes down.
