The past week has been quite interesting for me as a member of the Hive community, Dreemport HHYM marathon started last week and it has spiced up my engagement on the platform. The importance of a contest like this is to bring people together for learning/fun and I am glad to be benefiting already due to my amazing teammates and racers in the marathon.
Last week's task was a success and this week started pretty well for the LIMIT BREAKERS. We have got a great coach who takes time to organize things properly and that's why we are always ahead in the marathon task.

For this week, our task is to come up with a hand gesture that has a significant meaning to us. To be fair, we voted between ourselves after every team member submitted their idea and the hand gesture below was selected after the vote.
I suggested it though but the inspiration came from the team name, "Limit Breakers". In the picture, I made a fist with one hand while the flat palm serves as a barrier.
As a team, we are the fist and we break through barriers by supporting one another the best way we can. Limits in life do not mean a stopping point, it is a point that requires more than our best to cross because there is something bigger (reward) waiting for us on the other side of the barrier.
I have my limits both offline and online. My limits on Hive include engagement and a few other things I am struggling to do. There are days I feel motivated and there are days when it is the opposite, but the desire to do these things is there and I just lack little motivation sometimes.
It can be tough and challenging, it definitely needs courage but breaking limits can be easier when you have great people to support and encourage you.
As beautiful as life looks for everyone, we have our limits and the first approach to breaking through them is to decide to do so. Everything about life starts with making a decision and after that, we need commitment and determination to make things happen.
For instance, the first decision we made was choosing to be part of the marathon and here we are today working together to support each other in breaking our limits on the blockchain.

In just one week, my weekly engagement on the platform has improved due to the motivation I get from the Limit Breakers. I haven't been part of teamwork like this in a long time and I miss the feeling of having people to cheer you, especially on the blockchain.

Yesterday, I felt down when the mobile network started messing with me. It started at dawn and was very discouraging but all I needed was to get into my team discord channel and immediately I mentioned the issue, they cheered me even though they didn't have power over the silly networks.
And even though I couldn't engage as I wanted, I was inspired to do other things.
The weekend and the network on a usual can affect my mood with my online engagement but it is the other way around. I feel great with the team giving encouraging me to keep going.
A teammate is not feeling too well and the last time we spoke on the phone, I was worried about her but despite how she was feeling, she still keep up with the team because the team is not leaving anyone behind.
She is breaking her limit just like every other member of the team and I am certain that we all have improvements to be happy about plus there are more to come before the end and after the Marathon.
