Yesterday I had some Pizza for lunch. More often than not when I have vegetables or something healthy and light for lunch I stop by a local restaurant and top it off with a snack. Fresca is a local pizza joint and the pizza is better than your average chain.
I had the Hawaiian Pizza and doused it with hot sauce for some extra kick. Hawaiian Pizza is a Canadian thing, canned pineapples on Pizza add to the wholesome goodness. There is also some pork on the pizza-a fantastic combination.
The place isn't particularly nice inside, but the price and taste more than make up for the lack of ambiance. I've never had the pasta but I've ordered the veal and chicken sandwiches before, those are great for the price too. You can eat a slice of pizza while you wait for them to make your sandwich.
Just in case you think this wasn't my pizza, I had a bite. Got my fruit and vegetables for the day!
