I hear people claim me
Still, I hear them blame me
I hear them ask each other about me
But none of them has really been above me

I see them twining their futile melee around me
I have these people around me, who don’t really know me
I’ve been in existence since the creation
I’ve seen empires rise from cremation

I was a witness to the first rebel
That banished Adam and Eve from Eden
I also saw Cane commit murder on Abel
The genesis of the vices men wanted hidden

You might wonder where men got their bloodlust
It was from their spites, and their eyes of disgusts
Their readiness to bring about the demise of the just
Led the trust to be lost and the just beneath the crust

It is funny, the same men that let evil in their mind
Are flooding their living with outcries
Asking for where the eyes of the creator lie
To sanctify the world they had contaminated with lies

I am time, and this is when I tell the tale
Of men in haste, aboard earth moving like a snail
Their unending heist in life and futile hunt for the grail
The elixir that quenches death, so that, they may never die again

Men lost their Sanity
When they started chasing vanity
The illusion that they could live till eternity.
