Have you been to “ukay-ukay”? Or if you’re not from the Philippines, I assumed that you just heard this word today. So, ukay-ukay is the term for those clothes that came from other countries or mall pullouts that have been sold to some retailers for a very cheap amount, and it is called “ukay-ukay” because the clothes are mixed up together and you just need to dig or find the clothes that suit your style. There are other ukay-ukay shops that might be selling vintage and high-end brands of clothes for a cheaper price. I get crazy every time I went to an ukay-ukay shop because I really want to find cheap clothes that suit my style. And I am so happy because the last time I went to an ukay-ukay shop, I found clothes that met my style and some of them are just 10 pesos or 0.20 dollars (not even 1 Hive). Just make sure to wash it before you wear it.
On the other hand, I also found cheap and great finds from Shopee. It is an online shopping platform that allows sellers to sell their products and shipping discounts and vouchers are available. It is one of the most popular online selling platforms in Asia. Sometimes, when I’m lazy to go to the mall, I will just order from Shopee and what’s nice about the app is that they offer COD or Cash on Delivery where you can pay when the parcel has arrived at your address.
That would be all for today. Thank you for reading!
