Inspired by the topic Un día sin internet by @enrique89 I decided to do this to share some of the frustration I have these last weeks with my internet provider and to be able to drain a little of the anger that the lack of internet produces.
I currently have two on-site jobs, which take up most of my time during the week, where I am assigned two days off per week on a rotating basis. Coincidentally, for the past 3 weeks, the internet provider has been down in the area on those days off.
I take advantage of those days off to do extra things on the internet like uploading videos to my YouTube channel and everything related to it, like answering emails and questions in the comments. I also have to attend groups on Facebook and Telegram.
Parallel to all this I love researching new platforms to generate content, especially emerging technologies, but it is incredibly frustrating the lack of internet and my cell phone has no signal at all inside my house, if I want to connect I have to go out.
In my area there have never been these connection problems and I understand that many people in the country are going through worse problems, but even so I think I have the right to complain, it is a service that I have always paid on time since 2012, I have never been late with payments.
Now, if we talk about complaining to the company, another odyssey begins. Trying to get an answer by calling their customer service number is impossible, I haven't been able to get anything through this channel for more than a year.
Placing a claim on their website when they have a failure in the area is impossible because in the claims section they load a notice indicating that they are aware of the failure and are working on it.
You can complain to their Twitter accounts, but they respond so late that the problems are gone by the time they send you a private message. Despite all this, this is the channel I use the most to complain and take out my pent-up frustration.
By the way, I noticed a very interesting behavior with their Twitter accounts. They only announce that they have problems in an area when they are close to solving the problem, usually when they make the announcement the problem is more than 24 hours old.
And yes, as you will notice in all the writing, he never mentioned the name of the company. It is not the government supplier, it is a private company and although I am annoyed I am not going to mention its name here since in the blockchain it never forgets.
Although if you follow me on Twitter you will surely know which company it is, since I live complaining through that medium, but even so, I do not want to leave my name registered here since the reason for writing is simply to release a little and let it go.
As there are currently problems with the provider in my area, I am not sure if I can upload this, but if you are reading this, I was able to do the miracle of uploading it. Thank you very much for stopping by...
