We have had a very severe shortage of rain water all over the country, including mountain areas. Of course in a mountain effects can not be seen except if there has also been a heavy exploitation of lumber. I do live right on the coast in La Ceiba which is right at the foot of a big mountain range, we have been having water rationing for most of this year.
