I wonder if I read wrong or you did start making this into a left wing-right wing thing? My view is we do need certain socialist things, like a free eduaction, free health system, pensions, for the world to moderately function, a very small government or in fact no government are very appealing but I highly doubt they are possible, now we could reduce government just by eliminating the military, but would you agree to that? Probably not, the US is the most militarist of countries, if you don't believe it just look at the military's budget. OK, I think it has been a good debate, I have no problem with you seeing certain things differently than I do.
